First Time Homebuyer Workshop
Our homebuyer educational courses can help you learn about credit, budgeting, down payment and affordable mortgage options, realty services, the closing process, avoiding pitfalls and more.
There are three options available through a self-guided portal, a workshop, or an appointment. Certificates are provided upon the completion of the source and are used for local and state homebuyer downpayment assistance programs.
Self-Guided Portal with Appointment
Online through eHome America (in English and Spanish)

- CCCS of Savannah offers online homebuyer education through eHome America. This course takes 6-8 hours to complete. This course is offered in English and Spanish.

- After completing the eHome online portion, you are required to meet with a certified counselor in a one-on-one session to complete the course and receive your certificate.

Appointment with a Counselor
Appointments are available one-on-one with a housing counselor. Your counselor will with you to create a budget and set goals, review your credit and discuss ways to improve your score, connect you with local home buying resources, and answer any questions you have preparing you for your home buying journey.
